Miso Soup

while this may not be an 'authentic' recipe, it IS quick, easy, and good...
Ingredients
2 cups water or vegetable broth
2 tsp your favorite bouillon powder (or cubes)
1/2 tsp kelp powder (or other sea vegetable powder)
1/2 tsp sugar or Sucanat (optional)
1-2 tsp miso

Preparation
Heat water in saucepan or microwave.

Stir in bouillon, kelp, and sugar.

Dissolve Miso in a small amount of the hot liquid, then mix this into the rest of the liquid.

Serve immediately.

Served with a bowl of rice, this is a very satisfying light meal.

Optional: Add some Tofu, cut into small dice.
Optional: Garnish with scallion shreds.
For Cream of Miso Soup: Add some Rice Milk. MMMM!
