BBQ Miso Eggplant

Ingredients
Round Eggplant cut 1/2"thick 1 lb.

Preparation
Marinade:


  • Shiro Miso (white miso paste) 2 oz.

  • Sake (Japanese rice wine) 1 oz.

  • Sugar (raw if possible or brown) 2 oz.

  • Soy Sauce 1/2 oz.

  • Water (Vegan) 6 oz.

  • Green onion (scallion) chopped 1/2 oz.

  • Sesame oil 1/4 oz.



Proceedure:
Marinate eggplant slices overnight.

Drain and grill on a well oiled grill untill grill marks are well defined.

Serve with reserved marinade.
